Newsletter Submissions/Blasts:                 newsletter@lynchparents.org

PLEASE NOTE:  The LPA sends out a weekly newsletter (during the school year) informing the Lynch community of upcoming Lynch events.  At the end of each newsletter is a section for Community News.  We only send out stand-alone blasts for Lynch specific events or news.  (And only occasionally.)  As you can imagine, we get many requests from community groups each week.  Since parents give permission to be contacted for Lynch news and updates, we use the newsletter alone for community events, etc. (and not separate blasts).

DEADLINE:  The deadline each week is the Friday.  Newsletters are published on Sunday nights.

The fastest way to communicate with us is via email. However, you can leave any mail for us in the LPA Bin on the far left side of the counter in the main office. Or send it to us at: Lynch Parent’s Association, c/o Lynch Elementary School, 10 Brantwood Road, Winchester, MA 01890.

The LPA is involved in many aspects of the Lynch community. Through our main fundraising effort, called GO-DIRECT, we organize and sponsor school activities such as field trips, in-class programs, school-wide educational/enrichment programs and technology.

We organize volunteers for the classroom, library, computer lab, and staff appreciation luncheons and breakfasts. We bring the Lynch community together for our annual Fall Barbecue and Halloween Social. We publish a weekly newsletter, maintain the LPA website, and hold monthly meetings during the year at which Mr. Dupuis and Mrs. Phelan present school updates.

Parent's Association meetings are held monthly alternating on Wednesday evenings at 7PM and Friday mornings at 9AM.

These meetings are a wonderful way to get valuable information, to connect with other parents in the community, and find out about volunteer opportunities. We hope you will attend and become involved in your child's school experience as much as you can.

All meetings are held in the Lynch Library unless otherwise noted in the newsletter prior to the monthly meeting. All minutes are posted on the website following the meetings.
