RE: Assistant Superintendent Search Process - Finalists Announced

Please find below the names and current positions of the three candidates who have been named as finalists for the position of Assistant Superintendent. The School Committee will be conducting public interviews of the finalist candidates on Tuesday June 15, 2010.

Members of the community (school staff, parents, and interested community members) are invited to attend the interviews. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask the candidates questions.

The finalist candidates are:

Dr. Rhonda B. Cohen Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Personnel, Hastings-On-Hudson Union Free School District, NY

Dr. Susan A. Rubel Former Director of Curriculum and Staff Development (2001-2009), Groton-Dunstable Regional School District, MA

Dr. Alec Wyeth Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Waltham Public Schools, MA

The interview schedule is as follows:

6:00 – 6:45 PM Dr. Cohen

6:50 – 7:35 PM Dr. Rubel

7:40 – 8:25 PM Dr. Wyeth

Community members (school staff, parents, and interested community members) who attend are urged to remain for all three interviews as we will ask those in attendance to complete Feedback Forms on each of the candidates.
