Winchester League of Women Voters

by bkirkpatrick on August 31, 2010

As campaign signs sprout up on neighborhood lawns, and we look ahead to the November 2nd state election -- and a potential town election on a Prop. 2 1/2 override vote for Vinson-Owen Elementary School -- please consider the important role the League of Women Voters plays in Winchester. Our town has had a local LWV for over 90 years. Like any organization, we always need new members and new ideas! From the traditional "Day at the Races" candidates' question & answer session,  to new voter registration efforts at the high school, the LWV is a non-partisan, voter education organization dedicated to ensuring that Winchester voters get the facts they need to understand the issues and to participate in the many critical decisions facing our town and state. For more information, or to join the League, please visit http://www.lwvwinchester.org/

Help us make Winchester the town where everyone votes!
